Disney Update, 3/20/26This email was sent Friday morning, 3/20/26, through the Bob Rogers Travel website.
Greetings! Now that festival is over for our bands, orchestras, and choirs, we are full tilt into Disney mode! SUPER important things about our trip: 1. ALL students are asked to be on the REMIND messages. They do this by sending a new message to the phone number 81010. The message should say “@MUSICMOUS”. If they have the REMIND app, the class code is MUSICMOUS. Parents are welcome to join this as well, but you will be bombarded with texts during the trip – so be warned ;) 2. All students also need to download the “My Disney Experience” app. This will hold their park ticket, reservations, pictures, maps, etc. Disney World REQUIRES this app to enter and use their parks. 3. We have a mandatory trip meeting on May 6 at 7pm in the auditorium at Athens HS. Each traveler + 1 parent are asked to attend. We will dive into the trip in detail, answer questions, meet chaperones, talk about protocols, etc. At the end, all parents and students will sign the trip agreement. 4. WE NEED someone to drive the U-Haul full of large instruments, marching needs, and other items. You will be compensated for your time! If you are available to help us out, please contact your child's respective teacher (Rose, Covian, Quinn). 5. Rooming has been chosen and is 99% solidified. We are moving a couple kids around to fill some “gaps” in rooms, but your child has seen and signed off on their room assignment. Plane seats are being chosen now. 6. We will walk our students through the various “events” leading up to the big trip: downloading and navigating the Disney app, adding their friends to their app to reserve things together, reminding them on the days the reservations open, etc. We keep tabs on all of that and will walk them through the process during the school day. Reminders will be sent using the message system from item 1. 7. Your child will receive their ticket to the park when we arrive in Florida. Groups aren’t allowed to choose lightning lanes until 7am on the morning we are entering that particular park, and they can make food reservations 30 days in advance without a park ticket. AOPA memberships funds our summer scholarship program, where we are able to give money to students to further their music education over the summer months. To be eligible for a summer scholarship, the student's family must be paying members of AOPA.

Fall Camp Payment/Registration
$85.00 - $170.00
Registration means you have paid a portion to reserve a spot at camp. That's it!
FRESHMEN FALL 2026 Camp is HALF PRICE for you! Please select the $85 option if your child is enrolled in Freshman Orchestra at Athens in Fall 2026.
Full camp payment will be $170. It includes all food (including snacks), t-shirt, transportation, and memories to last a lifetime. If you choose to pay in installments, please pay the remaining balance 7 days before we leave for camp.
If you are enrolled at the International Academy or Troy High, you may NOT attend this camp.
