Hey Everyone, ‘Twas the 2 nights before Disney, and all through the music rooms…..
WEDNESDAY 5/25 at 4pm we will load the trailer with instruments. Those students know who they are. This will happen in the student parking lot.
Any instrument not loaded on the trailer is a carry on.
Thursday, CHARTER FLIGHT students need to bring their luggage with them to school and put it in their music classroom first thing in the morning. Seniors and those at THS have made special arrangements with their director. Luggage must be tagged. YOU will have access to this luggage BEFORE we get on the plane. This is ONLY for the bus ride to Flint. It will be loaded on a u-haul and an awesome parent is driving it up to flint for us.
You can bring a small backpack on the bus with you. The less luggage on the bus, the better. Remember – you will have access to ALL OF YOUR LUGGAGE BEFORE WE GET ON THE PLANE. This is only for the bus ride to flint!
We are providing busing from Athens to the airport(s) and back. Please drop your child off at Athens on Friday Morning.
Please be ON TIME Friday morning to Athens according to the itinerary that applies to you (commercial flight vs. charter flight).
It would be helpful if your student located their plane seat and their 2 busses (one for the airport transportation and one for park transportation) and wrote them down on their colored itinerary they got this week. The kids have been excused from school for Friday through the attendance office. You do NOT need to call them in.
